Headless Printing

Definition

Headless printing describes printing without a dialog box.

Settings

Automatically Print – Flags whether or not printing requests should show a popup or simply use default printer setting to print documents.

Default Printer – Flags where automatic printing happens.

Print Finished Shipments – Flags whether or not printing requests should happen automatically after “Finish Shipment” is clicked on the Shipment Editor.

Printing

The action menu’s Print button will respect the aforementioned settings. Likewise, the Finish Shipment button on the Shipment Editor will attempt to print if flagged using the above settings.
