Bill of Lading

Overview

The Bill of Lading security setting allows users to see and use the Bill of Lading default report. This report can be copied and edited in Report Designer. See the Reports documentation for more information on this functionality and other default reports.

Bill of Lading

A Bill of Lading is used when shipping internationally by carriers. Carriers will give a Bill of Lading to a shipper to use as a conclusive receipt that passes responsibility for the goods from the shipper to the carrier. Once the Bill of Lading security is enabled, you will be able to select the report in Report Manager or in the print menu.
